The African Empire (T.A.E.) is a large independent country in Africa. It covers most of Sub-Saharan Africa and is a an electronic direct-democracy, with the exception of the judicial power of the Silaha Akili. It doesnt have a capitol city, but the 7 largest cities act as governmental centers, keeping TAE highly decentralized.
The four official languages of T.A.E., and mandatory in schools, are English, Arabic, Swahili and French. Although Hausa is taught in most schools countrywide, only one year is mandatory, the rest is voluntary. Other languages like Oromo, Yoruba, Igbo, Amharic & Zulu are mostly taught locally and the laws vary on mandatory years.
